The PAG, comprising government agencies, international organizations, NGOs, and migrant community representatives, ensured that the Women RISE WISH Project produced actionable findings that contribute to gender-transformative policies and interventions for migrant women.
By bringing together key decision-makers and community voices, the PAG played a critical role in translating research into impact. It provided policy guidance, facilitated knowledge-sharing, and helped ensure that the study’s findings inform real-world change in labor rights, healthcare access, and migration policies.
The PAG’s Role in the WISH Project
• Advising on policies & laws – Providing guidance on national and international policies related to migration, labor rights, and healthcare access for women migrants.
• Bridging research & implementation – Ensuring research findings remain relevant to inform policy discussions, advocacy strategies, and institutional frameworks effectively.
• Identifying international best practices – Sharing global evidence-based approaches to enhance protections and rights for women migrants.
• Strengthening knowledge mobilization – Supporting effective dissemination of study results to government agencies, civil society, and migrant communities.
